"KnifeFight: No Rules is a short film about a crazy-ass show that went on in a Greenpoint warehouse this past February (2010). Put on by the eponymous KnifeFight -- the party-throwing moniker of Andy P. Smith, ex-Chief Magazine engine who also ran the dearly departed, DIY space Bodega -- the two-night affair at 171 Lombardy starred the usual crust-crunk suspects: Japanther, The Death Set, Cerebral Ballsy, Boogie Boarder and Murdertronics." - The Village Voice

Brooklyn DIY Oral History
I wrote the cover story, Ten Years of Music 2002-2012: A Williamsburg Oral History, for the July issue of The Williamsburg/Greenpoint News and Arts . Interviewing musicians, promoters, venue managers and influencers, I aim to continue to craft an overview of this period of time in North Brooklyn.
Northside Festival at The Wythe Hotel
As Creative Consultant for the 2012 and 2013 Northside Festival here in Brooklyn, I organized a number of live music showcases and panel discussions, this one here at The Wythe Hotel featured the CEO of Uber, Travis Kalanick, and the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commissioner, David Yassky.
