The Best of Daryl and Andy

About a year ago right now Daryl and I filmed what would be the pilot episode of “Late Night with Daryl and Andy”. Not much more than a hipster variety show, Daryl and I filmed ourselves cracking jokes and talking jib jab for exactly 60 minutes when the camera reached the end of the tape. Mini DV tape, yo.

We’ve since come a long way… a full year, a solid four episodes and change… here are some of the highlights from Season 1. Full episodes after the jump. And Season 2 coming soon! Stay tuned.

Bike Kill Photos – Tod Seelie

Bike Kill 7 happened on Saturday, Oct 30th. All the usual suspects were there, and when the cops came to investigate… well, they got a permit! Bike Kill is a legal block party, now fuck off! Though, that didn’t stop the cops from loitering at the corner and picking off the strays for open containers or weed or bench warrants.

I don’t know if Bike Kill is gonna happen next year. Every year, it’s “the last Bike Kill ever,” but if it continues, you know I’ll be there. In costume, drunk in the afternoon, riding bikes, throwing baby heads or bread, shooting fireworks and screaming at the top of my lungs. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Bike Kill is the best damn day of the year. Stay limber!

Bike Kill is my favorite day of the year! It’s better than Christmas. I could go on and on about Bike Kill…

There’s a ton of video from the past six Bike Kill events, but I thought this video here gives you a good idea of what to expect. And of course, my friend Tod Seelie has been photographing Bike Kill since its inception. Check out Tod Seelie’s pictures from Bike Kill 3, Bike Kill 2, and Bike Kill 1.

Last year, Black Label Bicycle Club, the organizers of Bike Kill, took the year off to party in NOLA. So expect this year to be twice as tough!
