New album and possibly last NYC appearance?
Ami Shalev, Yonatan Gat and Haggai Fershtman are three old, hairy Israeli men who play in the band Monotonix. You’ve heard about their “crazy live shows where they set shit on fire,” but you’ve never seen them play live. Or maybe you have. Whether it’s your first time seeing them or not, it’ll be the last time you see them. Rumor has it they’re throwing in the towel – which makes sense. They’re almost 50 years old and have been touring like 300 days a year for the last four years. You do the math.
