I am a writer, producer, creative director, artist and curator.  I get shit done.

Currently I am working as the Creative Director at The Yard coworking space in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. And I am also a Program Curator for the 2013 Northside Festival.

I am a staff writer at The Williamsburg Greenpoint News + Arts, a free, monthly newspaper, and I was the Founder and Editor-In-Chief of Brooklyn’s artist profile publication Chief Magazine. I have published music criticism in The Village Voice, travel essays and photography in Vice Magazine, short stories in Label Magazine, and creative journalism in Colors Magazine.

In 2006, I was invited for a residency at FABRICA in Treviso, Italy, where I worked as Contributing Editor of Colors and Managing Editor of the Benetton global rights blog and other various English language campaigns and in-house publications.

My book, Welcome to the Land of Cannibalistic Horses, illustrated and designed by Mike Force, is 556 pages of essays and interviews about America written in the summer of 2004 and features Hunter S. Thompson, David LaChappelle, Wesley Willis, Bernadine Dohrn, and Dan Savage to name a few.

In the world of television, I worked as Co-Producer and On-Camera Correspondent during the second season of the PBS documentary TV series Roadtrip Nation, during which I organized and conducted a 6-week documented road trip across the USA.

I earned my MS in Publishing from New York University and my BFA in Writing from Pratt Institute, where I also worked for three years as Editor-in-Chief of the student publication.

I now live in Brooklyn, with strong ties to Los Angeles, Seattle, New Orleans, London, Paris, and Copenhagen.
